Scotch Eggs

These Scotch Eggs is easy to make with pork sausage, eggs to serve for breakfast.

Ingredients:

• 7 Eggs

• 2 lb. Pork Sausage

• 1/4 cup Flour

• 2 cups Breadcrumbs

• 1 tbsp. Crushed Red Pepper Flakes

• 1 tbsp. Brown Mustard

• Vegetable Oil for frying

• Water for boiling

Instructions:

  1. In a saucepan over med high heat with boiling water with eggs and bring to a boil until done and remove boiled eggs from saucepan and transfer to a bowl to cool for 5 minutes and then place in iced water and then peel skin off the eggs.
  2. In a bowl add in sausage, brown mustard, red pepper flakes, stir well until combined.
  3. In a shallow bowl add in eggs, slightly beaten.
  4. In another shallow bowl add in breadcrumbs.
  5. In a another shallow bowl add in flour.
  6. Divide the sausage mixture into 7 balls and lightly roll boiled eggs in the flour and then roll in pork balls to coat each side of boiled eggs and dredge in the beaten egg and roll in breadcrumbs to coat each side.
  7. In a large pot over med high heat with hot oil cook in batches until golden brown and drained off greased on paper towel lined plate. Serve immediately.
