
Ingredients:
• 2 Purple Sweet Potato
• 3 cups Self Rising Flour
• 2 1/2 tsp. Active Dry Yeast
• 1 tsp. Salt
• 1 tsp. Granulated Sugar
• 1 cup Warm Water
• 3 tbsp. Unsalted Butter
• 1 cup Sesame Seeds for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees and grease a baking sheet with cooking spray and place sweet potatoes in baking sheet, bake for 45 minutes until tender.
- Remove the sweet potatoes from oven and peel off skin and then use a fork to mashed sweet potatoes and set aside.
- In a bowl add in warm water and salt, sugar, stir well until combined. Add in yeast, mix well until combined. Cover with clean kitchen towel and place at room temperature until frothy.
- In a bowl of stand up mixer with dough hook, add in the dough and knead dough for 4 minutes and transfer to floured flat surface and knead for few minutes and shape in a dough round and cover with clean kitchen towel at room temperature until it double in sizes.
- In a bread loaf pan grease with cooking spray and place bread dough inside and cover with clean kitchen towel and let rise for 1 hour. Sprinkle with sesame seeds over top of dough.
- Bake in the oven at 350 degrees until light golden brown and let cool completely on wire rack before serving.
