Banana Chocolate Chip Cake

This Banana Chocolate Chip Cake is moist loaded with banana flavor and chocolate chips with peanut butter chocolate frosting for a delicious dessert.

Instructions:

Cake:

• 2 cups Self Rising Flour

• 1 cup Granulated Sugar

• 1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon

• 1 cup Mashed Bananas

• 4 cups Chocolate Chips

• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

• 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil

• 1 tsp. Fresh Lemon Juice from Lemon

• 2/4 cup Sour Cream

• 1 Egg

Frosting:

• 1/4 cups Creamy Peanut butter

• 1/4 cups Cocoa Powder

• 1/2 cups Powdered Sugar

• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

• 4 tbsp. Milk

• 2 tbsp. Unsalted Butter, softened

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a baking pan with cooking spray.
  2. In a bowl of stand up mixer add in flour, sugar, cinnamon, mashed bananas, lemon juice vanilla extract and oil, sour cream, egg, beat well until combined. Stir in the chocolate chips mix well until combined.
  3. Pour the batter into greased baking pan and bake for 35 minutes and let cool completely on wire rack.
  4. Make the frosting, in a bowl of stand up mixer add in ingredients and beat well until smooth and fluffy.
  5. Spread the frosting out evenly over the cake.
