
Ingredients:
Plum Topping:
• 5 Red Plums, sliced
• 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
• 1/2 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
• 3 tbsp. Salted Butter
• 1 tsp. Milk
Cake:
• 1 1/2 cup Self Rising Flour
• 1 cup Granulated Sugar
• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
• 1/2 cup Canola Oil
• 1/2 cup Plain Yogurt
• 3 Eggs
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a round cake pan with cooking spray.
- Plum Topping, in a saucepan over med high heat add in butter and cook until melted. Add in the brown sugar and cinnamon, stir well until combined.
- Add in the milk and stir well until combined.
- Pour the batter into greased cake pan.
- Place the sliced plums around the bottom of cake pan over top of sauce.
- Make the Cake, in a bowl of stand up mixer add in flour and sugar, vanilla extract, yogurt and oil, eggs, beat well until combined.
- Pour the batter over the plums in the cake pan.
- Bake for 35 minutes until light golden brown and let cool for 10 minutes. Turn the cake over in cake plate and slice, serve. Enjoy!
