Chicken Gizzards

This Chicken Gizzards are tough muscles is tender.

Ingredients:

• 1 lb. Chicken Gizzards

• 2 cups Water

• Salt and Black Pepper to taste

• 1/2 Onion, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Wash the chicken gizzards with cold water thoroughly to cleaned before cooking
  2. Sprinkle the chicken gizzards with salt and black pepper in a bowl cover with plastic wrap and place in fridge overnight.
  3. Next day take chicken gizzards out of the fridge and place in pot of boiling water over med high heat and cover the pot with a lid and let cook for 30 minutes
  4. Add in onion, let cook for another 1 hour, uncovered, stirring occasionally while cooking. Serve.
