Frosted Peanut Butter Bars

These Frosted Peanut Butter Bars are chewy and easy to make for a delicious dessert.

Ingredients:

Bars:

• 2 cups Self Rising Flour

• 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar

• 1/2 cup Brown Sugar

• 1 cup Old Fashioned Oats

• 1/2 cup Creamy Peanut Butter

• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

• 1 cup Butter, softened

• 1 Egg

Peanut Butter Frosting:

• 1/4 cup Creamy Peanut Butter

• 1/4 cup Butter, softened

• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

• 4 tbsp. Milk

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a baking pan with cooking spray.
  2. Make the bars, in a bowl of stand up mixer add in flour, sugar and vanilla extract, peanut butter and butter, eggs, beat well until combined. Stir in the oats until combined.
  3. Pour the batter into greased baking pan and bake for 35 minutes and let cool completely.
  4. Make the frosting, in a bowl of stand up mixer add ingredients and beat well until smooth and fluffy.
  5. Spread the frosting out evenly over top of the bars. Serve.
