Apple Pie French Toast Bake

This Apple Pie French Toast Bake is made with apple pie filling and toasted bread to serve for breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients:

• 6 Sliced  Bread, cut into cubed

• 2 cups Apple Pie Filling

• 1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon

• 2 tsp. Vanilla Extract

• 1/2 cup Heavy Cream

• 1 1/3 cup Milk

Topping:

• 1/4 cup Old Fashioned Oats

• 1 cup Brown Sugar

• 1/2 cup Butter

• Whipped Cream, is optional

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a bowl of stand up mixer add in the milk, heavy cream, vanilla extract, cinnamon and eggs, beat well until combined.
  3. Add in the sliced bread and apple pie filling into the mixture. Stir well. In a bowl add toppings and stir well. Then pour over top.
  4. Pour in the greased baking dish and bake for 45 minutes until light golden brown and let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
