Apple Pie Cookies

Apple Pie cookies are filled with apple filling in a refrigerator pie crust.

Ingredients:

• 1 can Apply Pie Filling

• 1 package of Pillsbury Pie Crust

• 1/3 cup Cinnamon

• 1/3 cup Sugar

• 1/2 tsp. Nutmeg

• 1/3 cup Salted Caramel Sauce

• 1 tsp. Water

• 1 Egg, beaten

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and greased a baking sheet with cooking spray.

Roll out the pie crust on a countertop and use a rolling pin to roll out the pie crust until flatten.

Spread the caramel sauce on the edges of the pie crust and spoon apple pie filling in the center of pie crust and spread out evenly.

Roll out the second pie crust on cutting board and use knife to cut into small stripes. Place the crust stripes on top of the apple pie crust.

Brush with egg wash.

Sprinkle cinnamon, sugar and nutmeg on top.

Bake for 25 minutes until light golden brown and let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
