
Ingredients:
• 12 Slices Stale Bread, chopped
• 4 Strips Crispy Bacon, finely diced
• 3 tbsp. Fresh Parsley, finely chopped
• 2/4 cup Onion, finely diced
• 1/4 tsp. Ground Nutmeg
• 1 tsp. Salt
• 1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
• 1 cup Hot Milk
• 1 tbsp. Butter
• 2 Eggs, slightly beaten
Instructions:
- In a bowl add in chopped sliced bread and pour in hot milk, cover with plastic wrap and let set at room temperature for 25 minutes until softened.
- In a skillet over med high with melted butter cook the onions until tender.
- Add onions in bread mixture and add in eggs, bacon, parsley and salt, black pepper, nutmeg.
- Use your clean hands and knead the mixture together to form a ball.
- In a large pot over med high heat with salty boiling water and place bread balls into boiling water let steep for 20 minutes and take out of boiling water and place on plate. Serve warm.
