Malva Pudding

This Malva Pudding is rich pudding in syrup that’s is easy recipe to make for a delicious dessert.

Ingredients:

Pudding:

• 2 cups Self Rising Flour

• 1 cup Granulated Sugar

• 2 tbsp. Apricot Jam

• 2 tsp. White Vinegar

• 2 cups Milk

• 2 tbsp. Butter, softened

• 2 Eggs

Syrup:

• 1 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar

• 1/2 cup Boiling Water

• 4 tbsp. Maple Syrup

• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

• 1 cup Unsalted Butter, softened

Instructions:

  1. Make the pudding preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a saucepan over med high heat add in butter, sugar, jam and vinegar let boil until sugar has dissolved and smooth. Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes and pour in a bowl.
  3. Add in flour and milk, stir well until combined. Add in eggs, mix well until combined.
  4. Pour in the greased baking dish and bake for 30 minutes until dark brown.
  5. Make syrup, in a saucepan over med high heat add ingredients and bring to a simmer about 5 minutes while stirring occasionally and let cool for 20 minutes at room temperature.
  6. To serve place pudding in a bowl and pour syrup over top.
