Triple Layer Lemon Cake

This Lemon Cake have three layers is moist and filled lemon flavor.

Ingredients:

• 4 cups Self Rising Flour

• 1 cup Granulated Sugar

• 4 tbsp. Fresh Lemon Zest from Lemon

• 4 tbsp. Fresh Lemon Juice from Lemon

• 1 tsp. Lemon Extract

• 1 cup Unsalted Butter, softened

• 1 cup Milk

• 3 Eggs

Lemon Buttercream Frosting:

• 1 package Cream Cheese

• 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, softened

• 1 package Powdered Sugar

• 1 1/2 tet. Fresh Lemon Juice from Lemon

• 1/2 tsp. Fresh Lemon Zest from Lemon

• 1 tbsp. Lemon Extract

• 1/2 tsp. Salt

Instructions:

Lemon Cake:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease three cake pans with cooking spray.
  2. In a bowl of stand up mixer add in the flour, sugar, lemon zest and mix well until combined.
  3. Add in the lemon juice, lemon extract, butter, milk, eggs, beat well until combined.
  4. Divide the batter into three greased cake pans.
  5. Bake for 35 minutes until light golden brown and let cakes cool completely on wire rack.
  6. Make the frosting, in a bowl of stand up mixer add in cream cheese, butter, beat well untill smooth.
  7. Add in the lemon zest, lemon juice, lemon extract, salt, mix well.
  8. Add in the powdered sugar and beat well until smooth and fluffy.
  9. On a cake plate place one layer cake , frost it and then second cake layer, frost it and lay three cake layer on top, frost it. Enjoy!
