
Instructions:
Crust:
• 2 cups Self Rising Flour
• 2 tsp. Quick Rising Dry Yeast
• 1 tsp. Sugar
• 1/2 cup Butter
• 2/4 cup Milk, lukewarm
• 1 Egg, slightly beaten
• 1 Egg White
Filling:
• 1 Chopped Onion
• 5 Slices Bacon, diced
• 4 Eggs, slightly beaten
• 3 tbsp. Butter
• 1 cup Heavy Cream
• 2/4 tsp. Salt
Instructions:
- In a bowl of stand up mixer with paddle dough attachment and add in flour, butter, blend together into small pieces until is like breadcrumbs.
- Add in milk, egg, and beat well until comes to dough
- Wrap bowl plastic wrap and place in fridge for one hour.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease pie pan with cooking spray.
- Remove the dough from fridge and let set at room temperature
- In a skillet over med high heat add in butter, onions , bacon and saute until tender and bacon is crispy. Add in the heavy cream.
- Remove skillet from heat and add in eggs, mix well.
- Roll the dough on a floured surface and roll the dough out with rolling pin.
- Press the dough into pie pan and around the edges of pan. Brush with egg whites on the dough.
- Bake for 35 minutes until golden brown and let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
