Toad In The Hole

This Toad In The Hole recipe is made with pork sausage and eggs crust that’s perfect to serve for breakfast.

Ingredients:

• 1 lb. Pork Sausage Links

• 1 1/2 cup Self Rising Flour

• 1 tsp. Salt

• 1/2 tsp. Black Pepper

• 1 tbsp. Vegetable Oil

• 1 1/3 cup Milk

• 2 tbsp. Unsalted Butter, melted

• 4 Eggs, slightly beaten

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a bowl of stand up mixer add in flour, salt and black pepper, beat until combined and make a well in the center. Add in the eggs at time and melted butter beat well until combined and smooth. Cover with plastic wrap and set aside.
  3. In a skillet over med high heat with cooking oil cook the sausage links on both sides until done and brown. Drained off greased on paper towel lined plate.
  4. Place the sausage links in the baking dish and pour the batter over the cooked sausage links.
  5. Bake for 55 minutes until light golden brown and let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
