German Cheesecake

This German Cheesecake is sweet and delicious dessert.

Ingredients:

Crust:

• 2 cups Self Rising Flour

• 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar

• 6 tbsp. Unsalted Butter, softened

• 1 Egg

Filling:

• 1/2 cup Cornstarch

• 1/2 tsp. Salt

• 2/4 cup Granulated Sugar

• 1 tbsp. Fresh Lemon Zest from Lemon

• 1 tbsp.  Fresh Lemon Juice from Lemon

• 2 tsp. Vanilla Extract

• 3/4 cup Sour Cream

• 3/4 cup Heavy Cream

• 8 tbsp. Unsalted Butter, softened

•  3 Eggs

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease springform pan with cooking spray
  2. Make the crust, in a bowl of stand up mixer add in butter and sugar, beat well until smooth.
  3. Add in egg, mix well until combined. Add in flour, beat well until dough form.
  4. On a floured surface roll the dough out with a rolling pin and knead , use your clean hands to mix ingredients together.
  5. Press the dough into the bottom of greased springform pan and place in the fridge to chill.
  6. Make the filling, in a bowl of stand up mixer add in butter and sugar, vanilla extract, cornstarch lemon zest and salt, sour cream , heavy cream, eggs, beat well until combined and smooth.
  7. Take crust out of the fridge and pour the filling in the center and spreading out evenly.
  8. Bake for 1 hour until light golden brown and let cool completely before serving.
