Cinnamon Applesauce Cake

This Cinnamon Applesauce Cake is moist and flavored with spices and applesauce and top with cinnamon frosting for a delicious dessert.

Ingredients:

Cake:

• 2 cups Self Rising Flour

• 2/4 cup Granulated Sugar

• 1/2 cup Brown Sugar

• 2 tsp. Ground Cinnamon

• 2 tbsp. Apple Pie Spice

• 1 2/4 cup Applesauce

• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

• 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil

• 1/2 cup Water

• 2 Eggs

Cinnamon Frosting:

• 1 package Cream Cheese

• 4 tbsp. Unsalted Butter, softened

• 4 cups Powdered Sugar plus extra for dusting

• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

• 1/2 tsp. Ground Cinnamon

Instructions:

Cake:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a baking pan with cooking spray.
  2. In a bowl of stand up mixer add in the flour, white sugar and brown sugar, apple pie spice and cinnamon, mix well until combined.
  3. Add applesauce, vanilla extract and oil, water, eggs, beat well until combined.
  4. Pour the batter into greased baking pan and bake for 35 minutes until light golden brown. Let cool completely.
  5. Make the frosting, in a bowl of stand up mixer add ingredients and mix well until combined.
  6. Spread out evenly on top of the cake and dusting with powdered sugar. Serve.
