
Ingredients:
• 2 pint of Fresh Plums, pitted and quartered
• 4 tbsp. Granulated Sugar
• 1 tbsp. Cornstarch
• 4 tbsp. Vanilla Extract
• 3 tbsp. Unsalted Butter, softened
• 2 Store Brought Pie Crust
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a pie pan with cooking spray.
- In a saucepan over med high heat add in the butter until melted and add in the plums, sugar and vanilla extract, cook until sugar is dissolved.
- Add in the cornstarch, water, cook for another 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
- Take saucepan Off the heat and set aside on the counter to cool completely.
- Place one pie crust into greased pie pan and pour the filling inside the pie crust.
- Take second pie crust into flat surface and use a pizza cutter to cut out stripes. Place the pie crust stripes on top of the filling.
- Bake for 45 minutes until the pie crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly hot.
- Let pie cool for 10 minutes before serving.
