
Ingredients:
Cake:
• 1 block Dark Chocolate, chopped
• 2/3 cup Granulated Sugar
• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
• 1 stick Unsalted Butter, softened
• 4 Eggs
Frosting
• 1 block Dark Chocolate, chopped
• 1 container of Whip Cream
• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
• Garnish with Easter candy eggs.
Instructions:
Cake
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease two round cake pans
2. In a stand up mixer add in the butter, vanilla extract, chocolate and brown sugar, egg and egg yolk, beat well until combined.
3. Divided the batter into 2 greased round cake pans and bake for 35 minutes and let cake cool completely.
Frosting
- In a bowl of stand up mixer add in the dark chocolate and heavy cream, vanilla extract, beat well until smooth and fluffy.
Assembly
- On a cake plate place on cake and frost it and lay second cake on top, frost it. Garnish with Easter candy eggs.
