Italian Easter Cookies

Italian Easter Cookies is easy recipe to make to serve at Easter.

Ingredients:

Cookies

• 3 cups Self Rising Flour

• 1 cup Granulated Sugar

• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

• 1 tsp. Almond Extract

• 2/3 Unsalted Butter, softened

Frosting

• 2 2/4 cup Powdered Sugar

• 1/2 tsp. Vanilla Extract

• 1/2 tsp. Almond Extract

• 1/3 cup Milk

• 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter, melted

• Food Coloring

• Sprinkles

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease cookie sheet with cooking spray.
  2. In a bowl of stand up mixer add in the flour, sugar, vanilla extract and almond extract, mix well until combined.
  3. Add in the butter, beat well until smooth.
  4. Use a cookie scoop to scoop the cookie dough into the greased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake for 12 minutes until light golden brown and place cookies on wire rack.
  6. Frosting: In a bowl of stand up mixer add in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, almond extract, butter until smooth and fluffy like frosting.
  7. In three separate bowls divided the frosting in the bowls and drop food coloring in each bowl.
  8. Dip the top of each cookies in the frosting and sprinkles with sprinkles.
