Caramel Filling Blondies

These blondies are made with chocolate chips and caramel, chopped walnuts making a sweet dessert.

Ingredients:

• 1 1/2 cup Self Rising Flour

• 1 cup Brown Sugar

• 1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon

• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

• 2/4 cup Butter, softened

• 2 Eggs

Filling

• 1/3 cup Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips

• 1/2 cup Walnuts, chopped

• 1 package Caramels, unwrapped

• 1/3 cup Heavy Cream

Ingredients:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease baking pan with cooking spray.
  2. In a bowl of stand up mixer add in the flour, brown sugar and cinnamon, beat well until combined.
  3. Add in the butter and vanilla extract, beat well until smooth.
  4. In microwave safe bowl add in the caramels and heavy cream, microwave for 20 seconds and stir until caramels is melted.
  5. Spread half of batter into the bottom of greased baking pan and sprinkle chocolate chips and walnuts and pour over top the caramel sauce, spreading out evenly over the top.
  6. Pour the remaining batter over top and spread out evenly.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes until light golden brown and let blondies cool for 10 minutes before serving.
