Chicken Broccoli Mac and Cheese

This Chicken Broccoli Mac and Cheese is loaded with chicken, broccoli in a creamy cheese sauce.

Ingredients:

• 1 box Macaroni Pasta

• 4 cups Broccoli Florets

• 2 cups Cooked Chopped Chicken

• 1 tsp. Dijon Mustard

• 1/4 cup Flour

• 1/4 tsp. Paprika

• 1/2 tsp. Salt

• 1/2 tsp. Black Pepper

• 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil

• 1/3 cup Butter

• 2 cups Milk

• 4 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Instructions:

  1. In a pot of boiling salty water cook the pasta according to box instructions. Drained.
  2. In another pot of boiling water cook the broccoli until tender and drained off the water.
  3. In a skillet with oil over med high cook the chicken until done about 10 minutes and place it on paper lined plate and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet over med high add in the butter cook until melted and add in the flour, cook for 1 minute, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add in the milk to flour slowly and stir occasionally until thickened.
  6. Add in the mustard, cheese, salt and black pepper, paprika, stir occasionally until cheese is melted and take the skillet off the heat.
  7. Lay the chicken on cutting board and slice ,then place in the cheese sauce and add in the broccoli, pasta, stir well until combined. Serve warm.
