Vanilla Sponge Cake

This Vanilla Sponge Cake takes only six ingredients to make and the cake is dusting with powdered sugar.

Instructions:

• 2 cups Self-Rising Flour

• 1 cup Granulated Sugar

• 1 tbsp. Vanilla Extract

• 3 tbsp. Milk

• 2 Eggs

• Butter to coat round cake pan

• Powdered Sugar for dusting

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a round cake pan with butter.
  2. In a bowl of stand up mixer add in the flour, sugar, vanilla extract and milk, eggs, beat well until combined.
  3. Pour the cake batter into greased cake pan and bake for 35 minutes until light golden brown. Let cake cool for 10 minutes.
  4. Dust the cake with powdered sugar.
