
Ingredients:
Apple Cake
• 2 cups Self-Rising Flour
• 1 cup Granulated Sugar
• 2 Apples, peeled, cored, diced
• 1 cup Vegetable Oil
• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
• 2 Eggs
Butterscotch Sauce
• 1 cup Granulated Sugar
• 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
• 1 tsp. Salt
• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
• 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter, softerned
Instructions:
Apple Cake
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl of stand up mixer add in the flour, sugar, vanilla extract and oil, eggs, beat well until combined. Stir in the apples until well mixed.
- Pour the cake batter into parchment paper lined baking pan and bake for 35 minutes until light golden brown and let cake cool for 5 minutes.
- Make the butterscotch sauce, in a saucepan over med high add in all the ingredients and stir well until thickened like sauce.
- Pour warm sauce over the cake evenly and serve warm.
