Spicy Shrimp Spaghetti

This Spicy Shrimp Spaghetti have spinach with shrimp, creamy sauce over top of spaghetti pasta

Ingredients:

• 1 box Spaghetti Pasta

• 1 lb. Fresh Shrimp, peeled, deviened

•4 cups Fresh Baby Spinach

• 1/2 Onion, diced

• 2 Tomatoes, diced

• 1 tbsp. Minced Garlic

• 1/2 Bell Pepper, chopped

• 2 tsp. Thyme

• 1/2 tsp. Cayenne Pepper

• 1 tsp. Smoked Paprika

• 1 tsp. Creole Seasoning

• 1/2 cup Chicken Broth

• 1 tbsp. Fresh Lemon Juice from one lemon

• 2 tbsp. Olive Oil

• 2 tbsp. Unsalted Butter, softerned

• Salt and Black Pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a pot of salty boiling water over med high heat cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the shrimp with creole seasoning.
  3. In a skillet over med high heat add in oil, add in the shrimp and saute about 5 minutes until red showing in the middle.
  4. Place the shrimp in a plate and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet over med high heat add in the butter, onions and garlic, tomatoes, thyme and bell pepper, smoked paprika and cayenne pepper, let simmer for 3 minutes while stirring occasionally.
  6. Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice, stir well until combined and cook for 1 minute. Season with salt and black pepper.
  7. Pour in the cooked spaghetti, shrimp and spinach, stir well until combined.
  8. Take the skillet out heat and serve warm.
