Cherry Sheet Cake

This Cherry Sheet Cake is moist and make with fresh cherries, lemon zest making the delicious dessert.

Ingredients:

• 2 cups Self-Rising Flour

• 1 cup Granulated Sugar

• Powdered Sugar for dusting

• 1 lb. Fresh Cherries, stems removed

• 1 tbsp. Fresh Lemon Zest from one lemon

• 1 tbsp. Vanilla Extract

• 1 cup Unsalted Butter

• 2 Eggs

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a baking pan with cooking spray.
  2. In a bowl of stand up mixer add in the flour, sugar, lemon zest and vanilla extract, butter, eggs, beat well until combined. Stir in cherries until well mixed.
  3. Pour batter into the greased baking pan and bake for 35 minutes until light golden brown.
  4. Let cake cool for 10 minutes before dusting with powdered sugar and serving.
