
Ingredients:
• 2 cups Self-Rising Flour
• 1 cup Granulated Sugar
• Powdered Sugar for dusting
• 1 lb. Fresh Cherries, stems removed
• 1 tbsp. Fresh Lemon Zest from one lemon
• 1 tbsp. Vanilla Extract
• 1 cup Unsalted Butter
• 2 Eggs
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a baking pan with cooking spray.
- In a bowl of stand up mixer add in the flour, sugar, lemon zest and vanilla extract, butter, eggs, beat well until combined. Stir in cherries until well mixed.
- Pour batter into the greased baking pan and bake for 35 minutes until light golden brown.
- Let cake cool for 10 minutes before dusting with powdered sugar and serving.
