Strawberry Cake

This Strawberry Cake is moist and is made with homemade strawberry frosting.

Ingredients:

Cake

• 2 Self Rising Flour

• 1 cup Granulated Sugar

• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

• 1/3 cup Strawberry Puree

• 1 cup Strawberry Milk

• 1 cup Butter, softerned

• 2 Eggs

Strawberry Frosting

• 1 package Frozen Strawberries

• 1 cup Unsalted Butter, softerned

• 2 cup Heavy Cream

• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

• 4 cups Powdered Sugar

• 1/4 tsp. Salt

Instructions:

Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease two round cake pans with cooking spray.
  2. In a stand up mixer add in the flour, sugar, vanilla extract and strawberry puree, strawberry milk, butter, eggs, beat well until combined.
  3. Pour the batter into 2 cake pans and bake for 35 minutes until light golden brown. Let cakes cool for 10 minutes before frosting.

Strawberry Frosting

  1. In a bowl of stand up mixer add in butter, heavy cream, vanilla extract, salt, powdered sugar, beat well. Stir in the strawberries and beat well until smooth and fluffy.

Assembly

  1. Place one cake layer on cake serving plate, frost it and lay second cake layer on top, frost it.
