Pear Crumble

Pear Crumble is made with fresh pears filling top with crumble topping.

Ingredients:

Pears

• 4 Pear, cut, cored and diced

• 1 tbsp. Cornstarch

• 1 tbsp. Fresh Lemon Juice from one lemon

Crumble Topping

• 1 cup Self Rising Flour

• 1/3 cup Rolled Oats

• 1/2 cup Chopped Walnuts

• 1/2 cup Brown Sugar

• 1/2 cup Cold Unsalted Butter, cut into cubes.

Instructions:

Pears

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a baking pan with cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl add in the pears and squash fresh lemon juice and add in cornstarch on top pears, stir well until combined and thickened.
  3. Pour the filling into greased baking pan spreading out evenly.

Crumble Topping

  1. In a mixing bowl add in the walnuts, flour, brown sugar and oats, butter, use a fork to stir well until combined to crumble.
  2. Pour the crumble topping over top of pear filling evenly spreading out.
  3. Bake for 35 minutes until crumble topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbly hot.
  4. Let cool for 25 minutes before serving.
