Turkey Pot Pie

Turkey Pot Pie is made with leftover turkey, veggies and creamy filling in a pie crust.

Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup Flour

• 1/2 tsp. Poultry Seasoning

• 2 cups Leftover Turkey, chopped

• 1 Cooked Diced Potatoes

• 1 cup Frozen Vegetables, thawed

• 1 Onion diced

• 2 Store Brought Pie Crust

• 1 cup Chicken Broth

• 2/4 cup Milk

• 1/2 cup Butter, softened

• 1 Egg, slightly beaten plus water

• Salt and Black Pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a pie pan with cooking spray.
  2. In a saucepan over med high heat over med high heat add in the butter and onions, cook for 5 minutes until tender.
  3. Add in the flour, poultry seasoning and salt, black pepper, turkey, potatoes and veggies, stir, cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Add in the chicken broth, milk and bring to a boil until thickened about 1 minute.
  5. In the bottom of greased pie pan lay one pie crust down and pour filling into the pie crust and lay second pie crust on top.
  6. In a bowl whisk egg and water together and then brush egg wash on top of the pie crust.
  7. Bake for 35 minutes until light golden brown and filling is bubbly hot. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
