Ghost Halloween Cupcakes

Ghost Halloween Cupcakes are made with chocolate cupcakes with buttercream frosting on top and chocolate chips for eyes.

Ingredients:

Chocolate Cupcakes

• 2 cups Self-Rising Flour

• 1 cup Granulated Sugar

• 1 cup Cocoa Powder

• 1 cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips

• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

• 1 cup Vegetable Oil

• 1 cup Buttermilk

• 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, softened

• 2 Eggs

Buttercream Frosting

• 4 cups Powdered Sugar

• 1 container of Cream Cheese

• 1 cup Unsalted Butter, softened

• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

• Chocolate Chips for garnish with eyes

Instructions:

Chocolate Cupcakes

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a muffin pan tins with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl of stand up mixer add in the flour, sugar, cocoa powder and chocolate chips, vanilla extract, oil, buttermilk, butter and eggs, beat well until combined.
  3. Pour the batter into the muffin pan tins liners and bake for 35 minutes until light golden brown. Let cupcakes cool completely before frosting.

Buttercream Frosting

  1. In a bowl of stand up mixer add in butter and cream cheese, beat well until creamy.
  2. Add in the vanilla extract and sugar, beat well until smooth and fluffy.

Assemble

  1. Use a piping bag to pipe on the frosting top of each cupcakes and then use chocolate chip to make each frosting with eyes.
