Chocolate Halloween Cupcakes

Chocolate Halloween Cupcakes are made with chocolate cake top with orange cream cheese frosting and sprinkles.

Ingredients:

Chocolate Cupcakes

• 2 cups Self-Rising Flour

• 1 cup Granulated Sugar

• 1/2 cup Light Brown Sugar

• 1/2 cup Cocoa Powder

• 1/2 cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips

• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

• 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, softened

• 1/2 cup Milk

• 2 Eggs

Orange Cream Cheese Frosting

• 1 package Cream Cheese, softened

• 1 cup Unsalted Butter, softened

• 4 cups Powdered Sugar

• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

• Few drops of Orange Food Coloring

• Halloween Sprinkles for garnish

Instructions:

Chocolate Cupcakes

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a muffin pan tins with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl of stand up mixer add in the flour, sugar, cocoa powder and chocolate chips, vanilla extract, butter, milk, eggs, best well until combined.
  3. Pour batter into each muffin tins liners and bake for 35 minutes until light golden brown and let cupcakes cool completely before frosting.
  4. Make the frosting, in a bowl of stand up mixer add in all frosting ingredients and beat well until smooth and fluffy.
  5. Use a piping bag to pipe on top of the cupcakes and garnish with Halloween sprinkles.
