Peanut Butter Chocolate Cupcakes

These peanut butter chocolate cupcakes are moist with chocolate cupcakes frost with peanut butter frosting.

Ingredients:

Chocolate Cupcakes

• 2 cups Self-Rising Flour

• 1 cup Granulated Sugar

• 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder

• 1 bar of Dark Chocolate, chopped

• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

• 1 stick Unsalted Butter, softened

• 2 Eggs

Peanut Butter Frosting

• 1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter

• 2 cups Powdered Sugar

• 1/2 tsp. Vanilla Extract

• 2 sticks Unsalted Butter, softened

• Pinch of Salt

• 2 cups Chopped Peanut Butter Cups more for garnish

Instructions:

Chocolate Cupcakes

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a muffin pan tins with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl of stand up mixer add in the flour, sugar, cocoa powder and chopped chocolate, beat well until combined.
  3. Add in the vanilla extract, butter and milk, eggs, beat well for combined.
  4. Pour the batter into muffin tins liners and bake for 35 minutes. Let cupcakes cool completely before frosting.
  5. Make the frosting, add in the ingredients into a bowl of stand up mixer and beat well until smooth and fluffy.
  6. Spoon in the frosting into a piping bag and pipe on the frosting to each cupcake and garnish with peanut butter cups.
