Lemon Sheet Cake

This lemon Sheet cake is moist and filled with lemon flavored top with lemon cream cheese frosting.

Ingredients:

Lemon Sheet Cake

• 2 cups Self-Rising Flour

• 1 cup Granulated Sugar

• 1/2 cup Fresh Lemon Juice from one lemon

• 2 tbsp. Fresh Lemon Zest from lemon zest

• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

• 1/2 cup Plain Yogurt

• 1 cup Unsalted Butter, softened

• 2/4 cup Milk

• 2 Eggs

Lemon Cream Cheese Frosting

• 1 package Cream Cheese

• 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, softened

• 2 cups Powdered Sugar

• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

• 1 tbsp. Fresh Lemon Zest from one lemon

Instructions:

Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease baking pan with cooking spray.
  2. In a bowl of stand up mixer add in the flour, sugar, lemon zest and vanilla extract, lemon juice and yogurt, butter, milk, eggs, beat well until combined.
  3. Pour the batter into greased baking pan and bake for 35 minutes until light golden.
  4. Let cake cool completely before frosting.
  5. Make the frosting, in a bowl of stand up mixer add in the ingredients and beat well until smooth and fluffy.
  6. Spread the frosting evenly over top of the cake. Slice and serve.
