
Ingredients:
Lemon Sheet Cake
• 2 cups Self-Rising Flour
• 1 cup Granulated Sugar
• 1/2 cup Fresh Lemon Juice from one lemon
• 2 tbsp. Fresh Lemon Zest from lemon zest
• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
• 1/2 cup Plain Yogurt
• 1 cup Unsalted Butter, softened
• 2/4 cup Milk
• 2 Eggs
Lemon Cream Cheese Frosting
• 1 package Cream Cheese
• 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, softened
• 2 cups Powdered Sugar
• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
• 1 tbsp. Fresh Lemon Zest from one lemon
Instructions:
Cake
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease baking pan with cooking spray.
- In a bowl of stand up mixer add in the flour, sugar, lemon zest and vanilla extract, lemon juice and yogurt, butter, milk, eggs, beat well until combined.
- Pour the batter into greased baking pan and bake for 35 minutes until light golden.
- Let cake cool completely before frosting.
- Make the frosting, in a bowl of stand up mixer add in the ingredients and beat well until smooth and fluffy.
- Spread the frosting evenly over top of the cake. Slice and serve.
