
Ingredients:
• 2 cups Self-Rising Flour
• 1 cup Granulated Sugar
• 2/4 cup Light Brown Sugar
• 1/4 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
• 1/4 tsp. Ground Nutmeg
• 1/2 tsp. Allspice
• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
• 1 cup Walnuts, chopped
• 2 cups Apples, peeled and diced
• 1 1/4 cup Applesauce
• 1/2 tsp. Lemon Juice
• 1 tbsp. Vegetable Oil
• 2 Eggs
Glaze:
• 1 cup Powered Sugar
• 1/4 tsp. Vanilla Extract
• 2 tbsp. Milk
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a baking loaf pan with cooking spray.
- In a bowl of stand up mixer add in the flour, white sugar and brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg, allspice, beat well until combined.
- Add in the apple sauce, vanilla extract, lemon juice, oil, eggs beat well until combined.
- Stir in the apples and walnuts, beat well until combined.
- Pour in greased baking loaf pan and bake for 35 minutes until light golden brown. Let it cool for 10 minutes before glazing.
- Make the glaze, in a bowl of stand mixer add in the ingredients and beat well until smooth.
- Drizzle the glaze over top of apple bread and serve.
