Apple Crisp

Apple Crisp is filled with apples topped with brown sugar oats topping.

Ingredients:

Apples

• 4 cups Apples, peeled and thinly sliced

• 2 tbsp. Self Rising Flour

• 1/3 cup Granulated Sugar

• 2/4 tbsp. Ground Cinnamon

• 2 tbsp. Fresh Lemon Juice from one lemon.

• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

• 2 tbsp. Apple Juice

Topping

• 2/4 cup Self Rising Flour

• 2/4 cup Light Brown Sugar

• 2/4 cup Old Fashioned Rolled Oats

• 1/3 tsp. Ground Cinnamon

• 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, melted

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a bowl of stand up mixer add in flour, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla extract, lemon juice and apple juice, best well. Stir in the apples, mixing well until combined.
  3. Pour the apple filling into bottom of the greased baking dish.
  4. Add all the toppings ingredients in a bowl, mix well until combined.
  5. Crumble and pour the toppings out evenly on top of the apple filling.
  6. Bake for 35 minutes until filling is bubbly hot and topping is golden brown. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
