Strawberry Crisp

Strawberry Crisp is so easy to make with fresh strawberries is top with oat crumble topping.

Ingredients:

Filling

• 2 lbs. Fresh Strawberries, hulled and halved

• 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar

• 2 tbsp. Cornstarch

• 1 tsp. Fresh Lemon Juice from one lemon

• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

Crisp Topping

• 2/4 cup Flour

• 2/4 cup Light Brown Sugar

• 2/4 cup Old Fashioned Rolled Oats

• 1/2 tsp. Ground Cinnamon

• 1/2 tsp. Salt

• 1/2 cup Cold Butter, cut into cubes

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a square baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a bowl add in strawberries and sugar, lemon juice, vanilla extract and cornstarch, stir well until combined.
  3. Pour in the greased baking dish.
  4. In bowl add flour, brown sugar and oats, cinnamon, salt, use a pastry brush to cut up butter and oats until crumby.
  5. Then crumble topping over top of strawberries filling and spreading out evenly.
  6. Bake for 35 minutes until topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbly hot. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
