
Ingredients:
• 2 lb. Yellow Onions, thinly sliced
• 3 tbsp. Flour
• 8 cups Chicken Broth or Beef Broth
• 2 tbsp. Red Wine Vinegar
• 2 tbsp. Olive Oil
• Salt and Black Pepper to taste
• 2 tbsp. Unsalted Butter
• French Bread , sliced in halve
• 1 cup Fresh Grated Gruyere
Instructions:
- In a large pot over med high heat add in the olive oil and butter, cook until butter is melted.
- Add in the onions, salt and black pepper, cook, stirring occasionally about 25 minutes until onions are tender.
- Add in the flour, broth, Vinger and bring to a boil, cook for 20 minutes until thickened.
- Place the bread on baking sheet and place in the oven to toast the bread and add cheese on top of the bread to melted cheese.
- Pour the soup in a bowl add Top with cheesy toast.
