Chocolate Chip Cornbread

This cornbread is filled with chocolate chips.

Ingredients:

• 1 cup Self Rising Flour

• 3/4 cup Cornmeal

• 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar

• 1/3 cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips

• 1 cup Milk

• 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil

• 2 Eggs

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a cast iron skillet with cooking spray.
  2. In a bowl of stand up mixer add in flour, cornmeal, sugar and oil, milk, eggs, beat well until combined. Stir in the chocolate chips well mixed.
  3. Pour the batter into greased cast iron skillet and bake for 35 minutes until light golden brown and let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
