Broccoli Cheese Cornbread

Broccoli Cheese Cornbread is filled with  broccoli florets, onions, sour cream and cheese.

Ingredients:

• 2 cups Cornmeal

• 2/4 cup Self Rising Flour

• 1 package Frozen Broccoli, thawed

• 1 Onion, chopped

• 1 package Shredded Cheddar Cheese

• 3/4 cup Sour Cream

• 1/2 tbsp. Vegetable Oil

• 1/2 cup Milk

• 2 Eggs

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a cast iron skillet with oil.
  2. In a bowl of stand up mixer add in cornmeal, flour, sour cream, vegetable oil, milk, eggs, best well until combined. Stir in the broccoli and onions, cheese mixed well until combined.
  3. Pour in batter into greased cast iron skillet and bake for 35 minutes until light golden brown.
