
Ingredients:
• 2 cups Self-Rising Flour
• 1 cup Granulated Sugar
• 1 1/2 cup Sliced Almonds
• 1 tsp. Almond Extract
• 1/3 cup Cream of Tartar
• 1 cup Unsalted Butter, softened
• 2 Eggs
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a cookie sheet with cooking spray.
- In a bowl of stand up mixer add in the flour, sugar and almond extract, cream of tartar, butter, eggs, beat well until combined. Stir in the almond slices, mix well until combined.
- Use a cookie scoop to scoop the cookie dough onto a cookie sheet and bake for 12 minutes until light golden brown. Let cookies cool for 5 minutes before serving.
