
Ingredients:
Cake
• 2 cups Self-Rising Flour
• 1 cup Granulated Sugar
• 1 tsp. Lemon Extract
• 1/4 tbsp. Lemon Zest from one lemon
• 2 tbsp. Vegetable Oil
• 2/4 cup Milk
• 6 tbsp. Unsalted Butter softened
• 2 Eggs
Frosting
• 1 package Cream Cheese softened
• 2/4 cups Sour Cream
• 2 cups Powdered Sugar
• Fresh Lemon Zest from one lemon
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a baking pan with cooking spray.
- In a bowl of stand up mixer add in the flour, sugar, lemon extract, lemon zest and butter, milk, eggs, beat well until combined.
- Pour the cake batter into the baking pan and bake for 35 minutes until light golden brown. Let cake cool for 10 minutes before frosting.
- Make the frosting, in a bowl of stand up mixer add in frosting ingredients and mix well until smooth and fluffy.
- Spread the frosting evenly over the top of the cake and slice, serve
