Lemon Sheet Cake

Lemon Sheet Cake is moist with a lot of lemon flavored top with lemon cream cheese frosting.

Ingredients:

Cake

• 2 cups Self-Rising Flour

• 1 cup Granulated Sugar

• 1 tsp. Lemon Extract

• 1/4 tbsp. Lemon Zest from one lemon

• 2 tbsp. Vegetable Oil

• 2/4 cup Milk

• 6 tbsp. Unsalted Butter softened

• 2 Eggs

Frosting

• 1 package Cream Cheese softened

• 2/4 cups Sour Cream

• 2 cups Powdered Sugar

• Fresh Lemon Zest from one lemon

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a baking pan with cooking spray.
  2. In a bowl of stand up mixer add in the flour, sugar, lemon extract, lemon zest and butter, milk, eggs, beat well until combined.
  3. Pour the cake batter into the baking pan and bake for 35 minutes until light golden brown. Let cake cool for 10 minutes before frosting.
  4. Make the frosting, in a bowl of stand up mixer add in frosting ingredients and mix well until smooth and fluffy.
  5. Spread the frosting evenly over the top of the cake and slice, serve
