
Ingredients:
• 2 cups Sliced Apples, peeled and diced
• 1/2 cup Golden Raisins
• 1/4 cup Sliced Almonds plus more for garnish
• 1/3 cup Flour
• 2 tbsp. Granulated Sugar
• 1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
• 1 tsp. Ground Nutmeg
• Fresh Lemon Juice from one lemon
• 1 Egg
• 1 Sheet Puff Pastry, thawed
• Powdered Sugar for dusting
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees and grease baking sheet with cooking spray.
- In a bowl add in lemon juice and diced apples, mix well.
- In another bowl add in raisins and almonds, sugar, cinnamon and ground nutmeg, stir well.
- Add in the apples, mix well until combined. Stir in the flour to coat the everything.
- Roll out the puff pastry on greased baking sheet and spoon in apple filling. Now roll pastry up tightly. Add extra almonds on top and brush the top with egg wash.
- Bake for 30 minutes until light golden brown. Let it cool for 5 minutes and dust with powdered sugar. Serve warm.
