Triple Layer Chocolate Cake

This triple layer chocolate Cake is moist, chocolatey with ganache frosting.

Ingredients:

Chocolate Cake

• 2 cups Self-Rising Flour

• 2 cups Granulated Sugar

• 1 cup Sweetened Cocoa Powder

• 1 1/4 cup Chocolate Milk

• 2/3 cup Vegetable Oil

• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

• 3 Eggs

Chocolate Ganache

• 2 1/3 cup Dark Chocolate Chips

• 1 cup Heavy Cream

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease three round cake pans with cooking spray.
  2. In a bowl of stand up mixer add in the flour, sugar, cocoa powder and chocolate milk, oil, eggs, best well until combined.
  3. Pour the batter into three round cake pans and bake for 35 minutes until done. Let cakes cool for 10 minutes.

Chocolate Ganache

  1. In a microwave safe bowl add in chocolate chips and heavy cream, microwave for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally between cooking time until chocolate chips are melted.
  2. Take it out of microwave to cool for 5 minutes.

Assemble

  1. Place one layer of cake on a cake plate, frost it and lay the second cake layer on top, frost it and then take third cake layer frost it on top and around the cake.
