Sausage Gravy Biscuits

This sausage gravy breakfast is good for all morning breakfast but you also have supper breakfast anytime in the evening with this recipe.

Ingredients:

Sausage Gravy Recipe:

• 1 lb. Pork Sausage

• 1/2 cup Self Rising Flour

• 2 3/4 cup Milk

• 1 tsp. Black Pepper

• Salt to taste

Biscuit Recipe:

• 2 cups  Self-Rising Flour

• 1 tbsp. White Sugar

• 4 tbsp. Cold Butter

• 2/4 cup Buttermilk

Instructions:

Sausage Gravy Recipe:

  1. In a skillet over med high heat cook the pork sausage until done and drained off grease on paper lined plate.
  2. In the same skillet with sausage oil over med high add in the flour, milk and whisk until flour is dissolves and until thickened.
  3. Stir in the cooked pork sausage and black pepper, salt. Mix well to stir everything together and let it simmer for 5 minutes.

Biscuit Recipe:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and grease a baking pan with cooking spray.
  2. In a bowl add in the flour, sugar and cold butter and buttermilk, mix well until combined into dough like.
  3. Place the dough onto a flour surface and roll out the dough with rolling pin. Use a biscuit cutter to cut out each dough into a circle.
  4. Place the round dough into greased baking pan and bake for 10 minutes until light golden brown.

Assemble:

  1. Place two biscuits on serving plate and pour sausage gravy over the top. Serve warm.
