
Ingredients:
Sausage Gravy Recipe:
• 1 lb. Pork Sausage
• 1/2 cup Self Rising Flour
• 2 3/4 cup Milk
• 1 tsp. Black Pepper
• Salt to taste
Biscuit Recipe:
• 2 cups Self-Rising Flour
• 1 tbsp. White Sugar
• 4 tbsp. Cold Butter
• 2/4 cup Buttermilk
Instructions:
Sausage Gravy Recipe:
- In a skillet over med high heat cook the pork sausage until done and drained off grease on paper lined plate.
- In the same skillet with sausage oil over med high add in the flour, milk and whisk until flour is dissolves and until thickened.
- Stir in the cooked pork sausage and black pepper, salt. Mix well to stir everything together and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
Biscuit Recipe:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees and grease a baking pan with cooking spray.
- In a bowl add in the flour, sugar and cold butter and buttermilk, mix well until combined into dough like.
- Place the dough onto a flour surface and roll out the dough with rolling pin. Use a biscuit cutter to cut out each dough into a circle.
- Place the round dough into greased baking pan and bake for 10 minutes until light golden brown.
Assemble:
- Place two biscuits on serving plate and pour sausage gravy over the top. Serve warm.
