Chocolate Cupcakes

Chocolate cupcakes are moist top with frudgy chocolate frosting.

Chocolate Cupcakes:

• 1 cup Self Rising Flour

• 1 cup Granulated Sugar

• 4 tbsp. Unsweetened Cocoa Powder 

• 2/4 tsp . Vanilla Extract

• 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil

• 1/2 cup Milk

• 1 Egg

Chocolate Frosting:

• 12 oz. Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips melted

• 2 tbsp. Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

• 4 cups Powdered Sugar

• 1 tsp. Salt

• 1 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, softened

• 4 tbsp. Heavy Cream

Instructions:

Chocolate Cupcakes:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line each muffin pan tins with cupcakes liners.
  2. In a bowl of stand up mixer, add in the flour, sugar and cocoa powder, vanilla extract and vegetable oil, milk, egg, best well until combined and smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into each muffin tins liners and bake for 35 minutes until light golden brown. Let cupcakes cool for 10 minutes before frosting.

Frosting:

  1. In a bowl of stand up mixer add in butter, cocoa powder and melted chocolate chips, sugar and heavy cream, beat well until combined and fluffy.
  2. Spoon frosting into piping bag and frost each chocolate cupcakes.
