
Ingredients:
• 1 lb. Smoked Sausage, sliced into rounds
• 1 package Dried Kidney Red Beans
• 5 cups Cooked White Rice
• 1 Yellow Onion, chopped
• 8 cups Water
• 1 tsp. Creole Seasoning
• 1 tsp. Salt
• 1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
Instructions:
- Soak dried red beans overnight in water night before.
- In a skillet over med high heat, cook the sausage until brown and then add in the crockpot.
- In the same skillet over med high, add in onion and cook until tender, add in the crockpot.
- Add in red beans, Creole seasoning and salt, black pepper. Pour in the water.
- Cover the crockpot with lid and cook on low for 8 hours.
- Serve with cooked white rice.
