
Ingredients:
Donuts:
• 1 cup Self-Rising Flour
• 1/2 tsp. Salt
• 1 cup Granulated Sugar
• 1/2 cups Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
• 1 tbsp. Vanilla Extract
• 1 container Sour Cream
• 1/2 tbsp. Milk
• 1/2 Stick Unsalted Butter
• 2 Eggs
Caramel Glaze Sauce:
• 1 cup Brown Sugar
• 1 cup Heavy Cream
• 1/2 Stick Unsalted Butter
• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
Instructions:
Chocolate Donuts:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and greased a donut pan with cooking spray.
- In a bowl of stand mixer, add in flour, salt, sugar and cocoa powder, mix well.
- Add in the butter, vanilla extract and milk, sour cream, beat well until combined.
- Pour the batter into donut pan tins and bake for 12 minutes until light golden brown and let them cool for 10 minutes on wire rack.
Carmel Sauce Glaze:
- In a saucepan over med high heat, add in butter, heavy cream and vanilla extract, brown sugar, stirring occasionally until smooth and thickened like glaze sauce.
- Drizzle each doughnut with caramel sauce glaze. Place them on wire to cool completely.
