Chocolate Donut With Caramel Glaze

These chocolate donuts are drizzle with caramel sauce for easy dessert.

Ingredients:

Donuts:

• 1 cup Self-Rising Flour

• 1/2 tsp. Salt

• 1 cup Granulated Sugar

• 1/2 cups Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

• 1 tbsp. Vanilla Extract

• 1 container Sour Cream

• 1/2 tbsp. Milk

• 1/2 Stick Unsalted Butter

• 2 Eggs

Caramel Glaze Sauce:

• 1 cup Brown Sugar

• 1 cup Heavy Cream

• 1/2 Stick Unsalted Butter

• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

Instructions:

Chocolate Donuts:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and greased a donut pan with cooking spray.
  2. In a bowl of stand mixer, add in flour, salt, sugar and cocoa powder, mix well.
  3. Add in the butter, vanilla extract and milk, sour cream, beat well until combined.
  4. Pour the batter into donut pan tins and bake for 12 minutes until light golden brown and let them cool for 10 minutes on wire rack.

Carmel Sauce Glaze:

  1. In a saucepan over med high heat, add in butter, heavy cream and vanilla extract, brown sugar, stirring occasionally until smooth and thickened like glaze sauce.
  2. Drizzle each doughnut with caramel sauce glaze. Place them on wire to cool completely.
