Crockpot Split Pea Soup

This Split Pea Soup is made right in crockpot with split green beans and potatoes onion, carrots, cubed ham to make hot soup for winter season.

Ingredients:

• 1 lb. Dried Split Green Beans, rinsed and pick out debris

• 2 cup Potatoes, cut into cubed

• 2 Carrots, peeled and diced

• 2 cups Cubed Ham

• 1 container Chicken Broth

• 1 2/4 cup Water

• Salt and Black Pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In the bottom of crockpot add the peas and onion, carrots, ham and pour in chicken broth and water, salt, black pepper, stir well.
  2. Cover with lid and cook for 6 hours until green peas are tender and soup is thickened. Serve hot in bowls.
