
Ingredients:
Cake:
• 2 cups Self-Rising Flour
• 1 tsp. Salt
•1 cup Granulated Sugar
• 1/3 cup Shortening
• 1 cup Vanilla Extract
• 1 cup Milk
• 3 Eggs
Royal Blue Buttercream Frosting:
• 4 drops of Royal Blue Americolor Gel
• 2 drops of Sky Blue Americolor Gel
• 1 cup Butter, softened
• 2 tsp. Milk
• 1 lb. Powdered Sugar
• Candy Pumpkins Toppers for garnish
Instructions:
Cake:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and lined a cupcake pan with cupcake Halloween theme liners.
2. In a bowl of stand mixer, add in flour, salt, sugar and shortening, mix well.
3. Add in vanilla extract, milk, eggs, beat well until combined.
4. Pour the batter into cupcake liners tins and bake for 35 minutes until light golden brown. Let cupcakes cool for 10 minutes before frosting.
Royal Blue Buttercream Frosting:
1. In a bowl of stand mixer, add in butter, milk, vanilla extract and sugar, beat well until combined. Stir in royal blue gel and stir in sky blue gel, stir until it all blended in with frosting.
Assemble:
1. Frost each cupcake with frosting and top with candy pumpkin.
