Chili Dogs

Chili dogs are made with homemade chili sauce and bake in the oven.


Ingredients:
Hot Dog Chili:

  • 1 lb. Ground Beef
  • 1 tbsp. Chili Powder
  • 1 can Tomato Sauce
  • 1 can Kidney Beans
  • 1 can Water
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
    Other Ingredients:
  • 4 Hot Dogs
  • 4 Hot Dog Buns
  • 4 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • Instructions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a tin foil on baking dish.
  2. In a pot over med high heat, add beef, beans, chilli powder, and salt, black pepper, tomato sauce, water, let cook for 1 hour.
  3. In a pot of boiling water, cook the hot dogs until done.
  4. Place 4 Hot dog buns on tin foil baking pan and then hot dogs inside the and spoon chili sauce over the hot dogs, sprinkle cheese on top.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes until cheese is melted and hot dog buns are lightly toasted.
    Serve hot.
