Boston Cream Pie Cake


Ingredients:

For the Cake:

• 1 box Yellow Cake Mix

• 3 Eggs

• 1/2 cup Vegetable oil

• 1/2 cup Milk

• 1/2 cup Sugar

• 1 cup Sour Cream

• 2 tsp. Vanilla Extract

For The Vanilla Filling:

• 1 box Instant Vanilla Pudding

• 2 cup Heavy Cream

For The Chocolate Glaze:

• 1 1/2 cup Semisweet Dark Chocolate Chips

• 3/4 cup Heavy Cream

Instructions:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees and greased two round cake pans with cooking spray.

For The Cake:

• In a mixing bowl, add in the cake ingredients, mix well to combine.

• Pour the cake mixture into the two cakes pans and bake for 35 minutes, let the cakes cool for 10 minutes.

For The Vanilla Filling:

• In a saucepan, add in vanilla pudding and heavy over med high heat and stir occasionally until thickened. Remove from heat and let it cool for 5 minutes.

For The Chocolate Glaze:

• In a microwave safe bowl, add in the chocolate chips and heavy cream, stir together and microwave for 1 minute, stirring occasionally between cooking time until sauce is thickened.

Assemble:

Place the one cake on bottom of cake plate, spread the vanilla filling on top evenly. Place the second cake on top of filling and now pour the chocolate glaze over top of cake. Slice and serve.
