Raspberry Ice Cream

Raspberry ice cream is made with fresh raspberries in a ice cream maker.

Ingredients:

• 1 pint Fresh Raspberries

• 1/4 cup Sugar

• 2 cups Heavy Cream

• 1 cup Milk

• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

• 4 Egg Yolks

• 1 tbsp. Fresh Lemon Juice from one Lemon

Instructions:

Bowl of the ice cream maker, put it in the freezer to get cold.

In a saucepan, add in the fresh raspberries and sugar, let it simmer about 3 minutes and stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and place it in the fridge to chill.

On a double pot broiler with a bowl, add in the water in pot and add milk in the bowl, simmer until warm

In a bowl, beat the egg yolks and sugar until combined. Slowly pour in the milk and heavy cream to egg yolks, stir well.

Add in the vanilla extract and lemon juice, raspberries, stir well.

Take ice cream bowl out of freezer and pour ice cream mixture into it.

Let it churn until ice cream is done and soft serve. Then Travis to freeze until it’s frozen.

Serve in bowls. Enjoy!
